Shoreditch-based Haroun Hayward's (Studio HR-327) debut solo exhibition Event on the Downs at Hales Gallery features new paintings exploring visually the interconnectedness of repetition in music and pattern in textiles.

Event on the Downs marks a consolidation of Hayward’s ideas over the past two years. The paintings honour what informs Hayward's personal and artistic narrative — rave culture, British landscape painting and his mother's textile collection. More here
