Jane Molineaux Boon (Studio 5-218) has been selected for the Annual Society of Women Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries.

This painting was made in response to an artist’s challenge to create a self portrait. The idea was to see how little it’s possible to show of the person and yet it still be recognisable as a self portrait. Self portraits are usually made from examining oneself in a mirror. In this painting the subject watches herself in both her phone and the reflections in the darkened train window.
