Thank you to everyone who came to our Thames-Side Studios Talk by artist, 3D visualiser and virtual architect, Fabrice Bourrelly (7-222).
HOW I LEARNT TO MARKET MYSELF, GAINED 8,000 YOUTUBE FOLLOWERS, MADE OVER £20k ON THE INTERNET AND BECAME A GLOBAL LEADER IN MY FIELD IN JUST ONE YEAR.
In this talk, Fabrice spoke of how he went from feeling frustrated, overworked and full of anxiety with a family to support and a mortgage to pay, to having a crystal clear strategy of how to market himself, position himself in order to attract clients rather than chase them, and generate a constant stream of income using the internet and social media.
He broke down what he'd learnt over the past year into clear and simple milestones which so you could apply these concepts to better market your own art, products or services using the technologies of today. He communicated the key concepts and shifts in mindset necessary to find your voice - and your customers - in today's complex web of platforms and media. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session where Fabrice looked at specific situations and problems.
Fabrice is 3D visualiser who qualified as an architect in 1996. He studied both in England and France and has worked as an artist in London since 2003. He has enjoyed working with clients such as Google, Ideo, Anish Kapoor, Thomas Heatherwick, Bentley Motors, Phillip Starck. He currently teaches Unreal Engine for Virtual Reality in Architecture and works as a consultant for Epic Games.
