Ahead of his forthcoming solo exhibition And I Live by the River at Zedes Gallery, Brussels, Thames-Side Studio-based painter Ray Richardson (TB-121) shared some of his 30 years experience as a practicing artist. Born in Woolwich in 1964 Ray Richardson graduated from St Martins School of Art in 1984 and Goldsmiths in 1987. He has lived and worked in Paris, Brussels, Chicago and Connecticut. The talk was accompanied by a special screening of the film Ray Richardson: Our Side of the Water, a film by Nina Degraeve in association with Les A.P.A.C.H ASBL in collaboration with H.E.L.B-Cinema, filmed in locations around London, including Thames-Side Studios, in 2017.
